Your role and responsibilities
  • Create and close proactive deals with new clients or new Lines of Business
  • Driving new business growth by generating net new business opportunities and acquiring new clients in new logos or new Lines of Business.
  • The role involves a proactive sales approach, building and nurturing relationships with potential clients and identifying opportunities that align with the IBM strategic offerings.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share goals
  • Coordinate deal pursuits within the Market, including proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiation
  • Manage a pursuit team as needed in progressing a deal through the sales process
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, solutioning, quality, and delivery to ensure that the client needs will be met
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • Growth mindset with speed and hunger to action and win
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Strategic Partners such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, SAP, Salesforce etc…
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Experience working within the IBM Consulting organization or a similar global consulting firm
  • Familiarity with IBM Consulting services offerings and industry trends.
  • Experience working on deals and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Industry Specialization is a Plus
