As a Software Development Manager on the Recruiting team, you will be instrumental in bringing enhanced automation and consistency to Flex DP recruitment processes. You will manage your team's roadmap while orchestrating the design, development, testing, deployment and operations of multiple backend services and tools. You will work with partner tech teams to define team boundaries and define the Recruiting space. To be successful in this position, you will need to be a hands-on technical manager who understands and sets a high bar for all parts of the software development and deployment life-cycle. You will need to simultaneously deliver features for customers while ensuring progress on the right architectural vision.Key job responsibilitiesA day in the life

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
- Experience in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between
