Key job responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:- Translate basic business problem statements into analysis requirements.
- Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting. - Write queries and outputs efficiently, and have in-depth knowledge of the data available in your area of expertise.
- Pull data needed with standard query syntax; periodically identify more advanced methods of query optimization.
- Convert data to make it analysis-ready.
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot operational data-quality issues.
- Review and audit existing ETL jobs and queries.

- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
