Your day to day-
Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuousimprovement.
Establish outcomes and key results (OKRs) and successfully deliver them. Drive improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs).
Increase the productivity and velocity of delivery teams
Develop, plan, and execute engineering roadmaps that bring value and quality to ourcustomers.
Collaborate and coordinate across teams and functions to ensure technical, product, and business objectives are met.
Instill end-to-end ownership of products, projects, features, modules, and services that you and your team deliver in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
What you need to bring-
Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining high performance, high availability, large-scale data platforms
Excellent communication skills and ability to grasp and convey complex product requirements or technical concepts
Ability to work in a fast paced, agile development environment
Ability to partner with business units, product management, program management and cross-functional teams to deliver business results with agility and high quality
Experience building and managing highly effective engineering teams, conducting performance reviews, making compensation decisions and recruiting talent
Excellent time management skills and ability to work on concurrent assignments with different priorities
Proven results-oriented person with focus on customer experience and delivering quality products
5+ years of experience in managing and growing engineering teams (2+) that are responsible for large scale & high-volume platforms
Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns
Strong Agile skills and proven track record for product delivery
Entrepreneurial drive, demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment
Demonstrated development team building and people management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility and an ability to work in a matrixed and dynamic environment
