What you'll do...

As a Staf Software Engineer on the Walmart Commerce Technologies team you will have the opportunity to work on commercializing mature enterprise systems and enabling them for retailers. You will build a new SaaS product and ensure engineering excellence.


What you'll do:

  • Leverage your craft to build clear and easy to use technology for our customers

  • Contribute to the full software development life cycle including requirements, design, implementation, testing and documentation.

  • Write clean, maintainable code and develop new features and components.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build and improve the product.

  • Provide guidance and leadership and promote best practices across the team

  • Ensure software systems are reliable, scalable and high-performing while troubleshooting issues when they arise.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience working as a team lead is require

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering

  • Experience with either java, C# or other JVM basic language is required

  • Experience in creating and/or consuming RESTful web services or GraphQL interfaces.

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Experience working with unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD).

  • Strong communications and collaboration skills.
