In this role, you will:
- Provide support in retention of existing clients and referral of international banking issues within trade services
- Issue, advise and direct collections in accordance with Trade Services standards
- Amend letters of credit and process documentation
- Identify opportunities for growth opportunity through client referrals
- Receive direction from leadership while developing understanding of trade services, policies, and procedures
- Process complex letters of credit documentation
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Trade Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 6+ months experience or exposure to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions and Anti-boycott policies and procedures, and demonstrates an ability to understand and consistently adhere to procedures related to these subjects.
- Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) certification
- Knowledge of Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits (UCP), International Standard Banking Practice for the Examination of Documents (ISBP), Uniform Rules for Collections (URC) and related trade rules
- Experience in International Trade operations; similar work experience, such as payment or credit operations, may be taken under consideration as well
- Quality control experience, including identifying discrepancies and red flags, mitigating compliance risks, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Ability to gather and deliver customer requirements, report operational status, engaging team resources, and escalate concerns
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
- Ability to provide strong customer service while processing complex transactions and performing extensive research to resolve complex customer issues
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to navigate and operate efficiently across multiple computer systems and applications

- Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Work hours: Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM
