Senior Transmission Lines Engineer, you'll be part of our Energy & Power team, working on innovative projects that challenge the accepted and aim higher.

In this role, you'll:

  • Manage and deliver transmission line projects, focusing on design, documentation, and client satisfaction
  • Utilize your expertise in PLS-CADD, TOWER, and POLE software for line design and modelling
  • Provide technical leadership in key areas such as route selection, line profiling, sag/tension calculations, and conductor selection
  • Review contractor designs and prepare capital cost estimates
  • Conduct field activities including site inspections and construction monitoring
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverables and schedules
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the transmission line practice
Here's what you'll need
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering, registered with the Board of Engineers in Malaysia
  • With experience in overhead transmission line engineeringProficiency in PLS-CADD, TOWER, and POLE software
  • Strong project management skills, with a focus on delivery, resourcing, and financials
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively and provide guidance to team members
  • Experience in developing engineering proposals and fee estimates
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, manage project budgets and schedules, and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering structural engineering projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and innovation
  • Must have work right status for Malaysia
