The role involves managing operational processes related to confirmations and settlement of FX and Derivatives transactions, supporting a global client base, and facilitating transaction execution via systematic control framework. The role also includes responsibilities such as confirmation matching, client service, break resolution, processing transactions, maintaining client data, supporting Front Office sales and Middle Office, and managing stakeholders. The candidate will also participate in process review and uplift.

Job responsibilities

• Ensure all trades are correct and accurately matched in a timely and risk-free manner
• Ensure all payments are processed correctly and settled within cut off times
• Provide the highest of customer service standards to external clients and internal partners/stakeholders
• Partner closely with middle office, sales and operations teams around the globe
• Ensure all controls and checks are completed by the end of day & day-to-day compliance with internal SLAs
• Resolve of outstanding breaks in the Nostro/Wash accounts, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze and re-engineering existing processes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Hold a bachelor degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Derivatives Operations within the banking industry
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities
• Excellent relationship-building and time management skills
• Ability to cope in a high-pressure environment with time-critical deliveries whilst maintaining accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in order to identify, understand, and address operational related issues.
• Control mindset to identify process control gaps, prioritize, and mitigate operational risk

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience with investment banking environment, preferably in Back Office
• Experience with handling external clients
