This role leads the HR Operations team to deliver high quality HR services to the employees in Hong Kong Headquarters and Asia offices. In addition, you will review existing HR policies and operations processes, while developing and leveraging HR best practices and initiatives to enhance continuous efficiency and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of overall HR strategies, systems, procedures, processes and communication plans to ensure smooth business operations and legal compliance.

  • Manage HR function, including responsibilities in salary administration and outsourced service vendor management, employee/industrial relations, compensation and benefits (termination, contract renewal, transfer) etc.

  • Serve as major point of contact for HR related inquiries by providing advice and resolving employee issues.

  • Develop and implement human resources policies and procedures to ensure consistency of country execution with global policy framework.

  • Oversee and manage our HRIS system (Workday) and identify effectiveness and efficiency opportunities, lead and oversee implementation of work process enhancement initiatives.

  • Manage visa process and mobility related services to support global talent development strategy

  • Perform annual HR audit work for fulfilling Company requirement

  • Organize and coordinate various communication programs and recreation activities to improve employee engagement and maintenance of diversity.

Requirements

Knowledge

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or any related field

  • A seasonal HR Generalist with thorough understanding and over 10 years of experience in all-round HR functions, with increasing management responsibilities in MNC setting

  • Thorough knowledge of laws & industry practices affecting human resources management strategy (including PRC income tax knowledge, talent mobility and relocation, vendor and offshoring management, etc)

  • Demonstrated management and organizational skills

  • Good analytical skills and the ability to independently make decisions and solve problems

  • Strong presentation and influencing skills

  • Excellent language skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)

  • Proficient PC skills
