This technology leader will be responsible for building the next generation shopping experience and systems in order to provide a world-class Checkout Delivery experience. You will be owning set of technologies (full-stack) leveraging AWS and common industry standards. You will be leading a talented cross-functional tech organization including software engineers, technical program managers and QA. You will develop highly scalable, low latency, intelligent software that will have a massive impact for customers.A day in the life

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
- Experience in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between
- Experience delivering products against plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, distributed-responsibility and often ambiguous environment
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
