As a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer (f/m/d) you will be significantly involved in the product development of our ultrasonic probes and will be responsible for the electronics/sensor technology.In this role, you will play a key role in designing, investigating, researching, and developing electronic assemblies and systems on the interdisciplinary interface with mechanics, electronics, control systems /embedded systems) fit for complex medical devices and systems and deliver concepts and devices for future products with our customers and patients in mind.
Job Description

Responsibilites:

  • Work with various teams to define targets and design specifications for innovative electronic devices and systems.

  • Promote new developments and further developments of electronics and sensor technology for our ultrasonic probes

  • Develop and manufacture prototypes of electronic devices and electromechanical systems together with partners

  • Test the manufactured devices and systems and refine designs based on test results, measurements and simulations.

  • Write technical documents, reports, research papers and contribute to patent applications.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies and advances in electronics research.

  • Collaborate with teams within the Ultrasound Probes organisation and with research and industry partners to create value through iterations (build, measure, learn cycles).

Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a related field with a focus on electronic research and development and/or mechatronic development.

  • Profound knowledge in the integration of mechanics, electronics, control systems and/or computer science in product design and manufacturing.

  • In-depth knowledge of electronic assembly, measurement and analysis techniques and equipment.

  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Basic knowledge of German an advantage

  • Proficiency with electronic simulation tools, electronic CAD software and understanding of electronic manufacturing processes.
