Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Gain a thorough knowledge and understanding of client current EAM business practices, policies and regulations
- Conduct business/functional process analysis, identify business process improvement opportunities (based on business process reengineering), along with pros, cons, and potential risks
- Conduct software fit-gap analysis and system configuration work sessions with stakeholders and SMEs to start designing the To-Be business processes
- Prepare a detailed “To-Be” Business Processes Document outlining new process flows, workflow decisions and approvals, etc. which shall become the basis for the Maximo solution’s configuration
- Evaluate interfaces, integration needs, data conversion needs and incorporate into the design
- Conduct an Organizational Change Impact assessment to quantify changes and impacts, which can inform training and communication needs
- Author deliverables as required by the project, including but not limited to:
- Final “To-Be” Business Process Narratives and Flowcharts (including Fit-Gap Analysis)
- Functional/Technical Specifications for Reports, Interfaces, Data Conversion, and Security
- Functional & Technical Configuration Design Document
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelors of Science, Masters of Science and PhD in Information Systems or similar
- Demonstrated professional experience in:
- Leading information technology groups in asset management systems implementations
- Building partnerships with other departments who are end-users of the asset management systems
- Driving asset management initiatives, especially those that leverage technology based systems
- Implementing asset management systems in a transit environment
- Utilization and implementation of Maximo
