About the Role
As a Regional Operations Manager, you will help drive growth and platform experience (both riders and earners) for Uber in India & South Asia. The right person for this job should have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management experience, excellent time-management and organizational habits, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information.
What the Candidate Will Do
- You'll craft and execute the vision, strategy and day to day tactics for growth of Cars Business in India and South Asia.
- You will work collaboratively with local, regional and global stakeholders to improve the platform experience for drivers and riders by increasing platform attractiveness.
- You'll work closely with global team to get products/features prioritised for the region.
- Partner with critical functional areas (Product, Marketing, BD, Policy, Ops, Legal, Tax, etc.) as needed, to drive business objectives.
What the Candidate Will Need
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience (management consulting, investment banking, operations, etc.).
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Experience leading cross-functional stakeholders in order to execute high-impact projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. SQL experience a plus.
