• 5+ years of software development experience using C, C++, Rust or an equivalent programming language• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

• Experience with internals of PostgreSQL or similar Enterprise Database Management system, including Storage Engine and High Availability.• Experience building Distributed Systems with strong guarantees.• 2+ years of experience in designing,and shipping system level features in a large-scale cloud application or a backend distributed system.• 2+ years of experience developing andhigh-performance libraries or software engineering with a focus on large distributed systems involving concurrency, storage systems or databases.

• Engage with the OSS community for/ MongoDB to help develop new features and contribute improvements back to OSS code.• Profile and analyze distributed system toperformance bottlenecks.• Work across team and organizational boundaries to drive clarity and alignment.• Conduct and• Coaching and mentorship of fellow team members.
