Your key responsibilities
Work as a Solution Architect to contribute in various streams of implementation projects.
Plan and monitor of the project deliverables from the team.
Collaborate with team members, mentor the project team to plan, develop and implement project activities to achieve project and client goals.
Manage relationships with the client, key stakeholders, subject matter experts.
Participate in the organization-wide people initiatives.
Participate in the development of RFP/RFI response process.
Getting your hands dirty with code during team support and leading.
To qualify for the role, you must have
7+ years of experience in the IT area (min. 2 years of experience as a Tech Lead, Solution Architect, or other similar position).
Experience in Java, JEE, Web Services (SOAP and REST), Database development (both SQL and no-SQL).
Experience with designing and implementing cloud native solutions (AWS or Azure)
Banking or financial industry experience required.
Demonstrable experience in the system and/or solution design area.
Experience in another programming language is a plus.
Excellent English language skills
Very good communication skills.
Client management experience (Stakeholder management).
Willingness to travel to the customers locations on need basis.
Skills and attributes for success
Hands-on experience in one of the market leading integration platform and message brokers (e.g. Tibco, WebMethods, IBM AppConnect, ServiceMix, ActiveMQ, Kafka etc.)
Reactive programming experience (e.g. RxJava, Observers, even-driven programming principles)
Experience in agile / scrum approach.
Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions.
Ability to communicate technical matters clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, win supporters and spur people to action.
Experience in creating reliable solution plans in a cooperation with business and multi-disciplinary teams: costs estimation, delivery approaches.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Certificates proving certain skills: AWS, Azure, TOGAF, ArchiMate, COBIT etc.
