The fast-paced environment places emphasis on a first-time right approach, as such in-depth knowledge of product design, root-cause analysis and regulatory compliance is required.
In this role, you are responsible for:
- Using platform manufacturing techniques to leverage existing architectures to ensure new products are highly manufacturable
- Mentoring junior engineers on transducer process development, continuous improvement, and problem solving
- Working with key equipment suppliers to drive greater process capabilities and productivity
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering is required. A degree in Business or equivalent experience is a strong plus
- 10+ years of experience developing and transitioning medical products from R&D into production. Production Operations experience is a strong plus
- Significant experience in manufacturing process development and statistical engineering tools is required
- Demonstrated experience with the validation, documentation, and manufacture of medical devices is a plus
- Proven experience as a People Manager is a strong plus
- Proven and demonstrated problem solving skills are required
- Green belt/black belt certification is a plus.
