Intern duties include attending Congressional hearings, briefings, lobbying meetings, and other events
Conduct research on topics such as health AI, cybersecurity, international trade and supply chain, health economics; engage GE HealthCare colleagues on policy that impacts the company and our markets; lead projects related to company public policy priorities as much more.
Represent the company at industry trade association and coalition meetings
Draft content for GE HealthCare PAC and Advocacy Network communications
Engage GE HealthCare colleagues on policy that impacts the company and our markets
Lead projects related to company public policy priorities
Assist members of the Government Affairs & Policy team as needed
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
Ability to work out of the Washington, DC office
Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale)
Desired Qualifications
Current Senior or Junior classification (target graduation dates between May 2025 and May 2026)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
