Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the SAP Commerce Cloud strategy, aligning with overall company objectives, industry trends, and customer needs. Champion modernization efforts, including cloud-native services, AI-driven commerce, and headless architectures.
  • Product & Engineering Execution: Drive roadmap execution with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable commerce solutions. Ensure engineering excellence, platform modernization, and velocity of delivery to stay ahead of market demands.
  • Customer & Market Engagement: Partner with enterprise customers, analysts, and industry stakeholders to shape the future of SAP Commerce Cloud. Drive adoption and retention through continuous product innovation and market differentiation.
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure strong product-market fit, compelling messaging, and effective enablement of field teams and partners.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead a globally distributed organization, fostering a high-performance culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration across product management, engineering, and operations.
  • Ecosystem & Integration: Enhance the role of SAP Commerce Cloud within the broader SAP Customer Experience (CX) portfolio, ensuring seamless integration with Marketing, Sales, Service, and Data Cloud solutions.
  • Operational Excellence & Business Impact: Continuously optimize processes, improve execution efficiency, and ensure business KPIs, such as revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and market share, are met.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of leading global product and engineering organizations in enterprise SaaS, cloud commerce, or related domains.
  • Deep understanding of the commerce market, including B2B, B2C, and marketplace models, and emerging trends such as composable commerce and AI-driven personalization.
  • Strong technical acumen in cloud-native architectures, API-first commerce, and scalable multi-tenant platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategy, execution, and go-to-market collaboration to accelerate product traction and customer adoption.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers, understanding their needs, and translating them into actionable product and engineering priorities.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational environments, influencing and aligning stakeholders across product, sales, marketing, and engineering.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to engage C-level executives, analysts, and industry leaders.
