Job Description
The individual will be responsible for working on enhancements/modifications requests in the backend.
Responsibilities
- Work with existing DBA to optimize database Performance
- Review existing Store Procs and SSIS packages with an eye toward increasing performance and reducing DB object collisions
- Investigate and assist in implementing new technologies and techniques as the need arises
- Collaborate with project manager to enhance existing business applications and facilitate solutions to meet business requirements
- Should have understanding of Jira, bitbucket (git) and CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment
- Technically own and manage the process of ensuring timely build of the various elements of the solution
- Code, develop and test the requirements as per the specifications laid out.
Requirements
Education:B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
12 to 18 years
Foundational skills:
- SQL Server Development
- MS BI to create SSIS Packages
- MS SQL
- Able to build and maintain CI/CD pipeline for code release and management
- Subversion for source control
Proficiency in MS SQL Server 2016 and SQL programming (stored procedures, query optimization and strong data typing controls.)
Proficiency in using MS BI to create/optimize SSIS packages
Strong verbal and written English skillset. Detail oriented.
Desired skills:
- Database architecture and web content creation skills.
- Ability to integrate C# programming logic into SSIS package where required
- Experience in Java 8, Spring boot, hibernate, MuleSoft
- Ready to work in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular
- Object oriented programming concepts
- Working knowledge of git
- Well versed with SQL
- Experience in SDLC and best practices for development
- Ability to work against mid-level design documentation, take it to a low-level design, and deliver a solution that meets the success criteria
- Knowledge of packaging and promotion practices for maintaining code in development, test, and production
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Design patterns / MVC
