Serves as a Compliance Data Risk Oversight professional for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) responsible for developing and implementing elements of the data compliance risk oversight program, including supporting enhancements to programs, systems and reporting to facilitate ongoing oversight and monitoring of data compliance risks. Analyze the controls, issues, data concerns and the status of associated remediation and mitigation efforts to identify status and trend analysis for data compliance risks.
Responsibilities:
- Participating in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class program to provide oversight of data compliance risk.
- Identifying and assessing Citi’s key data compliance risks. Ensuring data compliance risks within Citi are effectively identified, measured, monitored, controlled, and reported consistent with the bank’s risk appetite statement and all policies and processes established within the risk governance framework.
- Supporting the breadth of systems and reporting needs within DCRO, CRMP and the broader ICRM organization, with an emphasis on providing meaningful information to support the ability to aggregate data compliance risks, including trending analysis.
- Support development of ICRM data compliance risk strategy, system and reporting requirements related to providing appropriate oversight and governance of data compliance risks.
- Data aggregation for all levels of reporting (e.g. Business Unit, Committees, Product).
- Develop, implement and manage CRMP data aggregation and reporting strategy.
- Partnering, collaborating and working with other areas within Citi, as necessary.
- Acting as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members in relation to owned areas of responsibility.
- Appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations, internal policy changes, and issues and data concerns to further identify new key risk areas impacting compliance data risks and the data stewardship strategy and program.

- Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills. Ability to articulate and visualize information in reports, dashboards and other documents in a concise and clear manner.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to guide, influence and negotiate with stakeholders, often at a senior level.
- Ability to navigate a complex organization, and work both independently and collaboratively with global partners across ICRM and Citi, across all levels of seniority.
- Ability to exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. A self-starter, who is flexible, innovative and adaptive, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Highly motivated, team oriented, organized and with high attention to detail. Awareness of regulatory requirements including local and US laws, international and industry standards.

- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and reporting tools (Tableau or Qlik)

Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience; experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof is preferred. Experience in area of focus.
