As a Senior SDE, you will design and build distributed systems that power our guidance and forecasting capabilities, work with scientists to leverage Generative-AI and machine-learning, and develop experiences that make these capabilities accessible across the advertising platform. You'll have the opportunity to influence the technical direction of our systems while mentoring other engineers and contributing to a culture of engineering excellence.
Key job responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance systems
• Build data processing pipelines that handle petabytes of advertising data
• Work closely with our applied-scientists to deploy machine learning models into production systems
• Work closely with our applied-science and product managers to design experiments to improve predictive models and infrastructure
• Create and maintain APIs that expose our services to customers and other ADSP services
• Develop monitoring and alerting systems to ensure accuracy and system reliability
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver features
• Participate in on-call rotations to support business-critical forecasting systems
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
