Key Responsibilities: - Participate in all phases of product development while serving as a coach and mentor to junior engineers.
- Utilize CAD-based modeling for design engineering.
- Perform engineering analysis and weight optimization.
- Implement design for manufacturing and cost estimation.

YOU MUST HAVE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical design with NX or CAD design tools, including modeling and drafting.
- 2+ years of experience in gas turbine engine installations and externals design. WE VALUE: - Experience in engine externals design areas, including mechanical systems, wire harnesses, rigid and flexible plumbing, brackets and mounts, ducts and pressure vessels, additive manufactured parts (metal or plastic), sensors and probes, gearboxes, housings, and casings.
- Proven application of ASME drawing standards, including ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience in Conceptual Design, Preliminary Design, and Detailed Design phases.
- Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
- Self-motivated individuals who can work with little supervision and consistently take the initiative to get things done.
- Ability to make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and overseeing successful projects, including leading small teams.
