As part of our team, you will:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as product managers, data scientists, and designers to build AI-powered applications that meet business needs and customer requirements.
• Build software projects where natural language processing (NLP) is a key component. Responsible for building linguistic models, prompt engineering for large language models (LLM) and designing user interfaces that facilitate natural language input and output.
• Integrate generative AI models into applications, ensuring seamless interaction between the AI components and the application interface.
• Building server-side applications/ backend code using C# and/or Python.
• Good understanding of orchestrating frameworks like Semantic Kernel, Langchain, Llamaindex etc.
• Understanding of agentic workflows.
• Expected to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and apply these advancements to improve the AI applications.
• Proven development experience on Azure Cloud and understanding of other cloud platforms like Google Cloud.
• Managing the end-to-end life cycle for software and applications
• Hands on experience of API integrations, Single-Sign-on and token-based authentication
• Experience in integrating with SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, CosmosDB, MongoDB)
• Experience in managing small databases, and proficient in querying existing databases for technical and data analysis
• Maintain documentation pertaining to software design and build
• Manage production support issues
• Apply agile and lean principles in design and implementation

You have:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
• Overall 5-9 years of work experience in C# or Python development where natural language processing was a key component.
• Atleast 1 year of experience in developing GenAI applications using prompt engineering, in-context learning etc.
• Preferably Certified Cloud Developer (either Microsoft, IBM Cloud, AWS, Google)
• Ability to quickly prototype ideas / solutions, perform critical analysis, and use creative approaches for solving complex problems
• Work with an Agile mindset to create value across projects of multiple scopes and scale
• Excellent communication skill – oral, written, presenting, creation of report outs etc.
• Solution seeker, diligent with detail orientation
• Positive approach

It would be nice if you also had:

• 1-2+ years of experience in participating in data and analytics initiatives in a corporate environment or a growing, data-driven startup
• Understanding of advanced analytics, including data management, different types of machine learning approaches and machine learning pipelines
• Understanding of fine tuning large language models
• Master’s degree or equivalent in information technology, computer science or related disciplines
