As a key member of our Project Management Team, you’ll provide the day- to- day support (management) and execution of project controls functions for project and programs. You will be supervising project controls staff and be responsible for cost control and schedule monitoring, analysis, forecasting, and reporting. You’ll manage overall project and program cost controls and reporting function by supporting client management, updates, and presentations to all levels of management. You will also develop, interpret, and execute policy objectives and standards applicable to cost and schedule controls coupled with analysis activities and EVM. You will collaborate with Project Team Members throughout the Globe.
- BA or BS or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management or related.
- 10+ years of related Project Controls and Scheduling/Planning experience on large programs with a focus on water
- Experienced in all project controls disciplines - Cost Engineering, Earned Value Management, Risk, Scheduling, Estimating, Document Control, etc.
- Broad knowledge of Project Control Systems, BI dashboard technology and processes including leading schedule processing software, program database platforms and spreadsheet applications (i.e.: Unifier, E-builder, Kahua, Primavera, Excel, etc.)
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proven experience setting up new projects
- Ability to develop, implement, and maintain standard program procedures for project controls
- Ability to develop and evaluate major program cost estimates and extended budget projections to identify and quantify critical budgetary, cost, schedule, technical, and programmatic risk factors
- Experience building and maintaining Primavera P6 cost loaded and resource loaded schedules to support forecasting and multi-year planning
Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:
- Understanding of operational business processes in the Engineering and Construction industry
- IT experience or aptitude a plus.
