Minimum Qualifications
- Leadership experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a related field
- Experience managing and growing engineering teams, providing mentorship, career development, and technical guidance
- Strong background in computer science and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Apple Clouds, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Strong background in distributed systems, linux etc.
- Strong hands-on technical skills with an ability to dive deep into architectural challenges when needed
- Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with short-term project execution and team priorities
- BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with search infrastructure or machine learning infrastructure is a plus
- Experience with cluster management and optimization is a plus
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
