Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in enterprise application development, solution architecture, or systems integration.
  • 4 years of experience in a client-facing cloud solution architecture advisory role.
  • Experience in designing solutions with multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go).
  • Experience architecting cloud-native applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), serverless (e.g., Cloud Run, Cloud Functions), and related GCP services.
  • Experience in microservices, event-driven architectures, API-first design, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and distributed/resilient application patterns on GCP.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Certifications in Google Cloud (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Developer).
  • Experience in Kubernetes and financial industry, and leading architectural aspects of customer-facing GCP application migrations, from discovery to guiding implementation.
  • Experience designing complex GCP application interactions: data flows, API strategies, inter-service communication (e.g., REST, gRPC, event streams).
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud/hybrid environments.
  • Ability to review existing code for re-architecture and understand application code to inform re-architecture and modernization strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders on complex architectural decisions.
