Key Responsibilities include:
Supports and participate in firm-wide initiatives that cover U.S. and other jurisdictions resolution plans (165(d) and IDI) and corresponding regulatory exams and reviews.
Be accountable, owning assigned critical milestones pertaining to Services RRP deliverables.
Work collaboratively with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including product, operations, technology, legal, the central RRP team, and other partners across multiple jurisdictions to confirm support, ownership and accountable parties for the delivery of RRP requirements.
Assess potential impacts of RRP on business strategies and initiatives, create awareness, ensure alignment with the business, address challenges, and identify opportunities to streamline and simplify the business’ plan(s).
Drive data analysis, validate and compose relevant sections of Citi's RRP and regulatory examinations with a holistic end-to-end view.
Develop, update, and communicate RRP related management reporting metrics while ensuring detailed documentation of such data, sources of information, and audit trails.
Provide effective risk framework and ensure the proper governance and communication models are in place facilitating transparency and consistency.
Work with respective teams to ensure testing, artifacts, documentation, attestations etc. are appropriate and sufficient for 2nd and 3rd lines of defense review.
Continuously assess emerging risks through quantitative and qualitative models and formulate the strategy and tactical plans to mitigate these risks.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
6+ years relevant work experience in Regulatory Risk, Business Risk & Controls, Business Operations, or Consultancy
Effective organizational influencing skills required
Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills and show comfort interfacing with senior stakeholders across trading desks, product control, legal, treasury, operations, and technology
Strong investigation, problem solving skills with ability to proactively and independently take on and lead complex projects
Ability to work under tight deadline pressures and demonstrate agility and ability to work within an evolving environment and function
Strong understanding of excel word and power point is required
Prior experience in US banking resolution regulation and / or Cash or Securities Product knowledge is a plus when applying for this role.
Knowledge of Wdesk or other editing tools is a plus
Strong financial markets product offering and/or services experience and understanding of Financial Market Infrastructures and related payment, clearing, and settlement activities is a plus
Experience in regulatory reporting/dealing with Regulatory bodies is a plus
