Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Java and Python
  • Extract data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and flat files
  • Transform data to meet business requirements and ensure data quality
  • Load data into target systems, such as data warehouses and data lakes
  • Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ETL issues
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Two to three years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Python
  • Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Apache Airflow)
  • Deep understanding of SQL and database concepts
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and data modeling best practices
  • ​Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Hive)
  • Understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $90,100.00 - $106,000.00 - $116,600.00 Job postings typically remain open for approximately 20 days of the posting date listed above, however the job posting may be closed earlier should it be determined the position is no longer required due to business need.
