Qualifications
  • Technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience

  • OR Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR equivalent experience
  • Prefered Qualifications:
  • Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture
Responsibilities
  • Technical Depth and Breadth: Deep technical understanding of cloud security architectures, solutions/technologies including but not limited to Identity and Access Management, Threat protection, Data Security and Cloud security. Technical experience with Microsoft cloud, data security solutions or related solutions is required.Demonstrates and oversees product demonstrations leveraging demos, Proof-of-concept, pilots and trials, presents and applies architecture patterns to partners and customers, proves capabilities and integration into customer environment, and drives cross-workload support for Microsoft 365 Purview solutions. Coaches account team to address customer digital transformation needs and provides insights to align right technology with customers’ Data Security, and Data Compliance needs.
  • Understanding of Organizational Gen AI security needs: Understands Gen AI application implementation in an organization and associated security needs and can devise solution leveraging Data Security and Compliance knowledge.
  • Build Strategy: Develops strategies to improve customers’ Data Security, and Compliance posture, captures and delivers competitive knowledge to enhance product and team capabilities, provides strategic input based on Microsoft's account-level capability, leverages partner, competitor, or open-source knowledge for strategy development, shapes strategic win plans with account teams, and tailors Microsoft messaging using customer feedback and contextual understanding of specific solutions in the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate across teams: Collaborates with internal and external teams during sales cycle. Communicates complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Acts as liaison between customer, Microsoft internal teams and partners in partner sell-with scenarios. Supports partner technical capacity by identifying skill and resource gaps and providing feedback to internal teams.
  • Develop and Maintain Technical Expertise: Stays updated on latest developments and advancements in Data Security, and Data Compliance space, including new tech, competitors, regulations and internal product and service offerings. Builds own readiness plan, grows product and industry knowledge, and practices expertise. Mentors internal virtual teams in solution area, identifies new opportunities, and monitors/responds to internal tech community posts.​​
