Key job responsibilities
* Analyze and understand business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents to develop custom solutions and enhancements.
* Develop custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements to extend or modify the standard SAP functionality.
* Create and maintain custom user interfaces using SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 technologies, ensuring a modern and intuitive user experience.
* Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions and user interface designs.
* Develop and maintain custom Fiori applications, modify existing Fiori apps, and create responsive web-based user interfaces using SAPUI5.
* Integrate custom ABAP programs and Fiori applications with other SAP modules and external systems as needed.
* Utilize SAP BTP services to build and deploy applications, promote and implement SAP Clean Core principles.
* Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the developed solutions.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members on ABAP programming and Fiori development best practices.
* Document custom code, interfaces, and technical solutions for future reference and maintenance.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ABAP programming and SAP development.
* Experience in developing custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
* Proficient in SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 development, with experience in creating modern and responsive user interfaces.
* Familiarity with SAP's development tools and environments, such as ABAP Workbench, SAP Web IDE, and SAP GUI.
* Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
* Understanding of SAP architecture, data structures, and integration techniques.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
* Certification in SAP ABAP (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP) or SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 development is preferred.

* Experience in SAP implementation projects, particularly in the manufacturing or high-tech industry.
* Knowledge of agile development methodologies and practices.
* Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and cloud-based development.
* Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs.
