Technology Consulting Sub-Service Line

As a Consultant in our Technology Consulting team in the Caribbean, you’ll will have the opportunity to learn, broadening your competencies in the areas of Technology Strategy andIT and Digital Strategy, Performance Improvement, Digital Engineering, Ai and data and Technology Project Management. You’ll be conducting Technology relatedassessments,diagnosing issues using qualitative and quantitative analysis, advising clients on technology-driven solutions, newoperating models or supporting the implementation of technologies.

  • Identify a purposeful “Why” for IT and Digital transformations, and establish an engaging platformfor change
  • Develop capability and IT operating models that introduce differentiated performance andinnovative ways of delivering technology
  • Challenge IT sourcing strategies and move them from cost plays to a foundation for innovation,scalability and flexibility

Your key responsibilities

Additional core responsibilities

  • Participate in the planning and delivery of high-quality Technology Strategy and Transformation, IT and Digital Strategy, Performance Improvement, Digital Engineering, Ai and data and Technology Project Management projects, to clientswithin the Caribbean region
  • Demonstrate strength of expertise on highly technical engagements around IT operating model design, transformation technology solutiondelivery, enterprise and technology architecturedesign, systems implementation and integration
  • Provide clear, complete, concise, and high-quality documentation around all deliverables
  • Delivery of presentations on any of the above topics to client Executives
  • Balance client projects,supportnew business development and practice development activities, whilewith complying with Company’s standards
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel as well as buildstrong internal relationships within EY Advisory Services and with other services across the Firm
  • Work effectively as a team member, provide coaching and mentorship, share in and providesupport for project engagement responsibilities, maintain clear and concise communication, andupdate senior team members as necessary
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Develop and support teams building strong delivery capabilities
  • Publish thought leadership, continuously improve our methods, and help manage the firm’s risk

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information
  • Systems, or a related field, from a recognized tertiary institution
  • Additional professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2®, PMP, PMBOK, SAFe or Diploma Levelin Project Management or similar discipline from a recognized tertiary institution or accreditation body
  • Minimum of 3 years with related work experience, and at least 1 or more years of in a leadership
    role, with demonstrated experience in delivering projects within the Technology transformation and implementation spheres
  • Experience in one or more of our focus industries including Financial Services, Government & Public Sector, Consumer Goods, Tech and Media, Advanced Manufacturing / Industry 4.0
  • Experience and an understanding of varying technologies and systems including but not limited to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems, Digital Workplace, Cloud infrastructure, Data & Analytics tools , Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Emerging Tech, IoT, Blockchain, and AI
  • Ability to translate Technology strategy into measurable business benefits
  • Have a track record of delivery within multiple medium-to-large-scale technical transformationprojects
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Good written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
  • Experience in using productivity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams.
