Description
In this role, you will:- Build and run project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path and systematic methodology to communicate status. - Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to define human annotation requirements vital to launch and maintain premier Apple software products- Drive on time delivery and deployment, identifying development and feasibility needs, establishing achievements for checkpoints and status updates
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in project or program management shipping products driven by machine-learned systems to worldwide users
  • Strong analytical skills and obsession for data, solid understanding of metrics measuring machine learning models and overall system quality; skilled at measuring impact from user experience standpoint
  • Detailed understanding of testing, build and release processes for sophisticated software
  • Demonstrated data-driven decision-making skills, including experience leading metrics-driven projects or programs.
  • Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to independently draft and present deliverables, recommendations and communication strategies
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have personally orchestrated the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations (100+) to accomplish
  • Superior group facilitation, interviewing and influence skills
  • Prior PM or engineering experience in machine learning, natural language understanding or search
  • Knowledge in machine learning infrastructure and data pipeline, and/or model evaluation
  • M.S. or Ph.D. degree with a focus in machine learning, data mining or statistics
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,000 and $278,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
