• Conduct Job Safety Analysis, Safety Audits and Surveys in various plants areas.
• Ensure on time CAPA closure by CAPA governance method.
• Analyze accidents, incidents & near miss incidents to find the root cause, suggest remedial measures and follow up with all concerned departments for the corrective actions.
• Prepare procedures / SOPs for the implementation of the Safety Management System at site.
• Formulate Procedures/ Guidelines /Work instructions for the safely handling Hazardous Chemicals / materials, their storages and safe disposal.
• Implement Laboratory safety plan and ensure safe laboratory practices.
• Conduct firefighting training fire drills and emergency plan training for company as well as contractor employees.
• Prepare HAZMAT and MOCK drill procedures and conduct the periodical drills in the plant.
• Select and provide proper PPE and Emergency safety equipments for employees.
• Conduct work place monitoring in plants to identify the hazards and suggest the remedial measures.
• Provide general awareness safety training and specific training on process safety to all employees.
• Implement work permit system and LOTO system in plant.
• Coordinate Fire & Safety equipment’s modification work with concerned dept.
• Execute of work permits like Hot work, Height work, confined space entry and cold work at Project and process site.
• Monitoring unsafe act and conditions during permit to work and trending the data.
• Induction training of new Company as well as contractor employees.
• Organization of refreshing safety training for Company as well as contractor employees.

• B.E./ Diploma in Chemical Engg or Mech. Engg. + Diploma in Industrial Safety or B.E. Fire and Safety
• 3 to 5 years in EHS
