JOB DESCRIPTION

Plans, develops and coordinates infrastructure and facilities projects and activities to obtain optimum performance of the production equipment, plant utility systems, space utilization and site efficiencies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Applies engineering technologies and project planning to assure minimum unscheduled downtime, while operating in the most efficient manner.
  • Performs task and maintenance management on technical projects and assignments.
  • Reviews project drawings and specifications for maintenance reliability and compatibility with plant structures and utility systems, performing analysis and providing recommendations.
  • Drafts policy, procedure and process improvement proposals related to maintenance and equipment reliability issues.
  • Standardize enterprise site interiors for a multi-campus employee connection.
  • Participates in projects to define facility standards, furniture selections, contracting and execution to include scheduling and project progress and subcontractor performance.
  • Develops 3D plant models based on facility designs for internal customers with digital engineering tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, Lumion, 3DSMax, Rhino and Sketchup
  • Collaborates with suppliers and internal customers for project planning and execution.
  • Oversees contractors to ensure execution to facility design documents and standards including drawing quality audits, product and project data reviews and other engineering evaluation work. Provides technical assistance to the architecture and engineering firm, contractors and customers as required.
  • Characterizes and implements proper controls and improvement opportunities on all processes.
  • Interacts with, management and internal organizations to assist in resolving facilities business process issues.
  • Prepares evaluation reports, analyzes discrepancies, makes recommendations for and initiates improvements for maintenance of production, infrastructure and security equipment or operating processes that improve productivity and quality and reduce flowtime.
  • Evaluates opportunities for defect prevention, process improvements and implements preventive corrective actions for design projects.
  • Performs data mining using advanced query procedures to manage maintenance labor and resources, effectively and efficiently in a construction environment.
  • Performs quality assessments and ad hoc reviews to maintain accuracy of all areas of the
  • Computerized Maintenance Management System.
  • Develops, implements and maintains TPM program data and records as required.
  • Identifies and implements modifications/ improvements that drive cost savings and efficiency for both maintenance and utilities systems.
  • Manages the predictive maintenance software, hardware, & support contracts for vibration, ultrasound, and infrared in support of maintenance and production equipment and product.
  • May perform other duties as required.
  • Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment.

You Must Have
  • Bachelor degree preferred with 0-2 years of experience or 2+ years of experience in a directly related field required in lieu of Bachelors degree
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or relevant discipline
