The role of TPE requires both “frontend” and “backend” interaction with external customers and internal stakeholders as well.The TPE is responsible forquality KPI's, initiating and executing continuous improvement on quality and reliability, representing his product portfolio towards internal stakeholders as well as externally towards OEM customers.
This position has responsibility for:
Conducting technical analysis of field returned product quality issue
Technically, leading and / or supporting the product and subsystem defect caused design change activity, and on customers’ needs in lifecycle management phase
Working closely with various cross functional roles, e.g. the OEM Program Manager, Product Owner, Product Quality Manager, Supplier Quality Manager as well as multiple production functions for NPI programs and continuous product quality improvement
Complaint handling, risk management, obsolescence management, ensuring product supply in accordance with regulatory standards as well as the company quality and product safety policy
Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions
Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in an electrical engineering domain, e.g. Electronics or Power Electronics with 2+yrs of working experience
Good theoretical and practical knowledge in electrical engineering, especially in the field of high voltage and power electronics
Experience and knowledge with electronic circuit simulation tools (e.g. PSpice, MathCad)
Experience in design of power electronic units for higher frequencies and knowledge of resonant power inverters.
Knowledge in EMC.
