ithin the electrical Power systems industry with focus on power system protection equipment.
This role will be based at our Hebburn office, allowing you to work from home for 1 day a week. The position also requires occasional travel globally.
The role:
The role:
•Implement market segmentation (including countries and sales channels), including competitor analysis and price analysis.
•Analyse and close product gaps based on market-driven requirements.
•Monitor the business performance during the product lifecycle.
•Support in the investigation of customer support requests, product defects and production issues
•Define product marketing and communication strategies (product, price, placement, promotion).
•Drive the business performance of the product over the whole product lifecycle in partnership with all partners over the whole process chain.
•Contribute to activities to continuously improve the product lifecycle management.
•Lead component availability in coordination between factories and R&D.
•Define product phase-out strategy.
•Target costing, product pricing, Wall 2 Wall profitability and quantity planning, and initiating and support go-to-market (G2M) activities.
•Communicate related information via webinars, videos, relevant sales media and customer meetings globally. This will involve effectively leading the product, including strategy, customer and market requirements, roadmap and business planning.
•You will need either an Engineering or Science based qualification for example – Level 3 (Apprenticeship/ A-Level/BTEC)/degree/HNC.
•If you do not currently have an Electrical Engineering qualification, at degree level, you must be willing to work towards this.
•Good communication (verbal & written) skill set.
•Have a general interest of power systems and the application of protection and control equipment in the electrical industry.
•A willingness to travel globally e.g. to the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, India, the Far East and the Americas (sometimes at short notice)
