Verification Test Equipment Engineer (Bothell, WA)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Oral Healthcare team as a Verification Test Equipment Engineer, contributing to the development of next-generation Sonicare products. In this fast-paced role, you will support Systems Engineering and the Test & Verification Lab by ensuring that product testing equipment is designed, maintained, and optimized to effectively verify that products meet stringent design requirements. Your work will be critical in enabling robust product testing and analysis to deliver world-class oral health innovations.

Your role:

  • You will be responsible for keeping assembly, measurement, and test equipment in a product development laboratory environment in optimal condition.
  • Assist project engineers and lab technicians in troubleshooting a broad range of custom developed assembly and test equipment.
  • Collaborate with product development project teams to improve test methods, recommend, and implement improvements to test equipment, and adapt test equipment to newly developed products.
  • Create calibration and maintenance procedures and work instruction and perform scheduled calibration and preventive maintenance to automated and semi-automated test equipment (custom developed and off-the-shelf).
  • Follow all regulations, safety guidelines, and equipment operating/maintenance procedures to meet specific requirements.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts, consumables, and tools necessary to support installed equipment.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience inthe field of test and verification within product development is preferred. Experience related to the development and testing of medical (FDA regulated) products is a plus. (ISO 13485, 21CFR820).
  • Your skills includeHands on experience with pneumatic actuators and systems, sensors, measurement systems, and vision systems. LabVIEW, Matlab or Python programming experience a plus.
  • You have aBachelor’s degree in Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional engineering experience.
  • You are willing to travel occasionally in support of new equipment development projects.

The pay range for this position in (Bothell, WA) is $110,000 to $177,000
