About the Role

As a Program Specialist on the Mobility LATAM Defect Reduction team, you’ll play a foundational role in reducing customer defects by turning data into actionable insights for Product and Business teams. You will support our most critical programs by building data structures, tools, and insights to investigate issues, monitor performance, manage different experience programs, and drive smarter decision-making.

This is a highly hands-on, technical role, ideal for someone with strong analytical capabilities who is eager to understand the business and grow into a cross-functional problem-solver. You’ll work closely with Program Managers and Analysts, gradually increasing your exposure to stakeholders and developing your ability to influence decisions with data.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Conduct root cause analysis on the most recurrent customer support issues to translate findings into actionable insights
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to generate hypotheses and support the evaluation of pilots and experiments
  • Influence Business (Operations) and Product teams using your findings to take data-driven decisions focused on improving our Rider & Drivers experiences
  • Own the data backbone of the Defect Reduction engine: scraping, structuring, validating, and visualizing large volumes of customer support data
  • Build and maintain automated trackers, dashboards, and alert systems to flag performance trends
  • Continuously seek opportunities to automate manual processes and improve team productivity

Basic Requirements

  • English proficiency
  • 2+ years of experience in analytical problem-solving (consulting, data analytics, or hyper-growth startups are a plus).
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets
  • Self-starter mentality: You take ownership, move fast, and get things done independently.
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Customer obsession: Genuine passion for our users and solving their problems
  • Eagerness to grow business and financial acumen skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing without authority
