As a Hardware Engineer, you will be a part of the team of experts working on the development of advanced Customer Terminal products. You will own or contribute to the following:
- Design and optimization of different blocks of electronics sub-systems
- Schematic capture and lead PCB layout design and reviews
- Design DC/DC power supplies and Point of Load
- Support flow-down requirement definitions and generate test plans/procedures
- Board bring-up and perform test campaigns of modules and subsystems
- Support design automated test systems, test fixtures and factory test
- Support the transition of the designs to mass productionExport Control Requirement:
- BS degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in high-speed digital design and/or RF designs
- 3+ years of experience in signal and power integrity design and analysis
- 3+ years of experience of mixed signal PCB layout designs
- 3+ years of experience in using schematic capture tool and PCB layout viewer
- 2+ years of experience board bring up and debugging in lab environment
- 2+ years of experience using lab equipment including soldering irons, hand-tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
- Masters of Science or PhD in electrical engineering or computer engineering
- Familiarity with analog electronics fundamentals (transistor, op-amps, filters, etc)
- Familiarity with DC power supply designs
- Familiarity with Hyperlynx Signal Integrity simulation tool
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC design mitigation
- Experience with Mentor Graphics or Cadence layout tools
- Previous work experience in a programming languages
- Proficiency in developing lab test programs for instrument control
