Expectations and Tasks:

Resolves complex issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues. Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. Provide application implementation services typically within the boundaries of specifications and project plans. Design activities include requirements analysis and design documentation. Implementation activities include implementation, testing, and integration. Maintenance activities include error analysis and removal. Extends, modifies or adapts existing designs but may also be involved in the development of new (sub-) systems. If acting as Scrum Master in the LEAN context, responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. Serve as 'servant-leader' for the Product Owner and the Development Team. Facilitate Scrum Events on request or as required. Coach the Development Team in self-organization. Remove impediments to the Development Team's progress. Collaborate with Product Management, User Experience and User Assistance to create documents and artifacts, contribute to System and Software design and write code using advanced programming tools.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Work Experience:

• Java Enterprise Edition (EE) frameworks, including Hibernate and Spring;
• Object-oriented programming, Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, RESTful web services, ODATA, and PL/SQL;
• OOAD, UML, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns;
• Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), HANA, Oracle, SQL, or MySQL;
• Enterprise Search Platforms, including Apache Solr;
• jQuery, Object Oriented JavaScript, AJAX, XML, HTML, and CSS;
• Junit frameworks and Mockito;
• Tomcat, Maven, Gradle, Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, Eclipse, or IntelliJ; and
• Linux, Windows, JVM, web servers, and application servers.
