Your key responsibilities
- Participate in due diligence engagements related to the acquisition or disposal of businesses by private equity investors or strategic corporate buyers. Analyse financial/operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records, conducting interviews with management, and preparing/evaluating pro forma financial information.
- Identify and analyse key value drivers to deliver financial and commercial insights, which directly impact deal value and deal structuring. Based on your analysis, write up your findings and recommendations, and project manage information flows while managing key stakeholders.
- Working with colleagues from other disciplines on multi-faceted projects in cross border environments.
- Assist Partners and Directors with business development activities and initiatives, contributing to proposals and new business opportunities .
Skills and attributes for success

- Hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics. Membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants or an international equivalent is required.
- Demonstrate strong Excel skills and a high level of proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative team environment.
- Be highly analytical, enjoying the challenge of solving deal value questions within short deal timelines.
- Be prepared to contribute to the team culture by being actively involved in team activities both within Transaction Diligence and across EY more broadly
