Your key responsibilities
- Deliver impactful finance transformation projects by supporting assessments, process mapping, operating model design, and business case development across core finance functions such as Record-to-Report, FP&A, and Procure-to-Pay.
- Enable digital finance solutions through hands-on involvement in system implementations and initiatives involving RPA, AI, and finance data strategy, working closely with clients, vendors, and cross-functional EY teams.
- Engage with stakeholders and contribute to EY’s growth by presenting insights and recommendations, supporting business development efforts, and participating in knowledge-sharing and continuous learning initiatives.
Skills and attributes for success
- 3–5 years’ experience in finance, consulting, or transformation roles within professional services or industry, with a strong understanding of finance processes such as P2P, R2R, FP&A, and costing.
- Hands-on experience with finance system implementations (e.g., SAP, Microsoft, Blackline, Tagetik) and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI or other analytics tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills , with the ability to work independently or in teams.Please note: Australian citizenship is required due to the nature of Federal Government engagements.
