• Support the implementation of security solutions to mitigate risks associated with BMC's cloud SaaS services.
• Partner with SaaS teams to ensure compliance with BMC Information Security standards.
• Coordinate with the Security Operations Center to manage security incidents effectively.
• Understand and analyze security architectures and network data flows across diverse cloud environments.
• Review and assess periodic security reports from both internal and external sources.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
• Proven hands-on experience with cloud architectures such as AWS, OCI, and GCP.
• Solid understanding of security architectures and network data flows across multiple cloud environments.
• Strong team player with effective communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 4+ years in a direct Information Security role.
• Exceptional written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate and execute tasks to completion efficiently.
• Focus on delivering results quickly through iterative methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with external customers as required.
• Experience in creating procedural documentation.
• At least 4+ years in a direct Information Security role.
• Exceptional written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate and execute tasks to completion efficiently.
• Focus on delivering results quickly through iterative methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with external customers as required.
• Experience in creating procedural documentation.
• Security engineering experience within a SaaS organization is an advantage.
• Experience in Palo Alto firewalls, CrowdStrike AV, SIEM, and Vulnerability Management (Tenable), Web Application Firewalls is preferred.
• Familiarity with container security solutions and processes is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CCSP or Security+ are advantageous.
