Key job responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end delivery of reporting products including:
• Working with product stakeholders to gather
business requirements to define key performance
indicators
• Translating business requirements into
technical requirements that can be used by
software developers and data engineers to build
data pipelines
• Validating data and writing code logic to
instrument metrics
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining
ongoing reporting solutions such astrack overall business health and goals
• Performing analyses on large datasets to explain changes in customer engagement and feature performance trends
• Interfacing with other data teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources
• Recognizing and adopting best practices in reporting and analysis to foster operational excellence (e.g., performing data integrity checks, gaining efficiencies in data processing capabilities, continuously improving reporting and analysis processes, and driving documentation processes)
• Managing multiple projects and proactively communicating to stakeholders status updates and shifts in priorities and objectives
• Contributing to defining the team's data vision and strategyA day in the life
In this role you will help shape and implement the team's vison for data infrastructure and data models, reporting and deep dive artifacts, and self-serve data tools. You will help develop and maintain team mechanisms that ensure our data products hold a high bar for operational efficacy and accuracy. You will closely collaborate with product, engineering, and partner BI teams to define and instrument key performance indicators for the Fire TV business and ensure that these metrics are aptly represented and understood across orgs.

- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
