What you'll do...

As an Engineering manager you are responsible for plan, design, and oversee projects, and ensure their successful execution. They may also define system requirements and objectives based on customer and stakeholder needs. Manage budgets, finances, and risk. Supervise one or more engineering teams, and coach, mentor, and motivate technical professionals. Also, Research new product and opportunities for the growth of team and company



What you'll do:

Design and implement complex features in Walmart for mobile apps.
Define roadmap for our team by working closely with product and / or technology partners to build the experience for front end and back end platform.
Deeper understanding in CI/CD frameworks to improve developer productivity.
Focus on Test Automation and designing the framework for same.
Provide documentation for all of the solutions in place.
Inspire best Practices and create culture of craftsmanship and innovation.
Lead a team of senior Individual Contributors.
Leads and participates in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements, translating requirements. into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirements, wire frames).
Supports business objectives by collaborating with business partners to identify opportunities; addressing high-priority initiatives (for example, business strategy, technical feasibility, implementation alternatives).

Identifying short- and long-term solutions; and leading cross-functional partnership.
Utilizes industry research to improve Wal-Mart's technology environment by analyzing industry best practices; bench marking industry against internal processes and solutions; researching or influencing future industry solutions for fit with internal needs; and defining software development guidelines, standards, and processes.

What you'll bring:

  • 10 -12 years of mobile software development experience (mobile development preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in leading the team as manager.
  • Good delivery records for features in hands of customers
  • Good delivery records for platform improvements
  • Sound experience to build CICD pipeline.
  • Knowledge integrating 3rd party.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving capability.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills; ability to influence and persuade, without direct control.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock Minimum Qualifications...
