Your key responsibilities

  • Provide large business clients with tax advisory and tax compliance services.
  • Working with a market leading client list, you will advise on tax matters and help clients respond to complex tax issues
  • You will help some of Australia’s leading organisations to effectively mitigate tax risk and comply with tax laws
  • Develop strong and broad relationships with your clients and become a trusted advisor
  • Apply our latest technology including data analytics, automation and robotics to streamline clients’ tax operations
  • Work across multiple projects, both autonomously and as a team member, and collaborate with our global EY tax network
  • Supervise and support junior team members

What we’re looking for

  • With a passion for tax, you value career long learning and innovation
  • Australian corporate tax experience, ideally gained in a professional accounting, legal or corporate environment in Australia
  • Demonstrated ability to manage engagements, with strong influencing skills to pull the right levers to drive the best outcomes
  • An ability to articulate complex technical information into succinct, well-informed recommendations to your clients
  • The willingness to invest time to learn and develop, and to work in a dynamic team environment
  • Ideally, you’ll also have commenced or completed CA, post-graduate tax or legal qualifications, or equivalent

The minimum salary for this role is AUD 78,000 inclusive of superannuation and dependent on skills and experience.
