Facilities Management Services & Real Estate include, but are not limited to,
- Hard services, such as maintenance, installation and construction of building systems and infrastructure such as electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems and utilities.
- Soft Services, such as; physical security, cleaning, food services, waste management, pest control, uniforms, fleet, etc.
- Real Estate: you will be responsible to lead all transactions, such as properties selling/buying/sub-leasing, lease renewal, finding new alternatives, space rightsizing, preparing business cases for each transaction in according to local needs, working closely with Legal & Finance teams, etc.

In this role, you will be part of the Global Facilities Management & Real Estate department (GFM&RE), in the International Markets team, reporting to the IM Senior Director Regional Head, based in Israel.

How you’ll spend your day

As the México & LATAM Associate Director Facilities Management & Real Estate, your responsibilities include:
• Provide strategic support for the team overseeing all facilities, real estate and physical security operations
• Leads changes for assigned sites in accordance with the strategic initiatives within GFM&RE and TEVA Corp.
• Assist sites during the development of annual budgets for operational and capital expenses, to reach cost reduction targets set by the Business and Teva
• Monitor Facilities service levels in line with SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs to support business operations and reach service improvement targets
• Engage with all relevant stakeholders on a reoccurring basis including with relevant business manager to align on goals and work plans, and coordinate with other functions (i.e. Corporate Security, EHS, Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal, etc.) to meet business needs
• Oversee Cluster strategic FM/RE projects, such as; opening and/or closure of sites, construction, relocating sites, technology-related projects, etc.
• Ensures compliance with Teva and GFM&RE policies, procedures, operating plans and SOPs
• Support the Sr. Dir IM and VP GFM&RE with the implementation of global strategic plans and initiatives for assigned sites
• Identify operational requirements and solutions for upcoming issues and problems (bottlenecks) on various organizational levels:
- Acting as FM interface and supporting synergy on projects with the local, regional and global support teams
- Visiting sites and audit services or service providers
- Requesting changes of the service providers contracts and renegotiating their contracts with support of the TEVA Procurement team
- Representing FM in the new facilities planning, decommissioning, consolidation and upgrade projects to make sure that the FM requirements are achieved, and business needs met

Your experience and qualifications

• Fluent English
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Facility Management and Real Estate - including management of budgets, soft & hard services, and capital projects
• Bachelor’s degree (preference given to those with a degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or related field(. Master’s degree - advantage
• Strong ability to develop presentation/business cases and present to all levels of management
• Experience with Manufacturing, R&D, and Distribution operations at a pharmaceutical or other regulated company preferred
• Well-developed leadership skills coupled with outstanding people, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to initiate, manage, and successfully implement significant change processes
• Financial oversight experience
• Team player, service orientated, supportive and has an ability to create strong networks within a matrix organization
• Management of an organization in a state of uncertainty and regular change while being flexible to meet the requirements of the customer and business
