In this role you will be instrumental in delivering our extensive project pipeline encompassing environmental planning, impact assessment, and approvals. You will contribute to significant projects across a range of sectors with a strong focus on defence, renewables, energy storage, transport and water.

The role:

You will work alongside highly experienced professionals that will support you to grow and develop professionally. In this role you will:

  • Prepare environmental constraints reports, REFs, scoping documents, environmental impact assessments, statutory planning submissions and environmental management plans.
  • Provide environmental and planning advice to both internal and external clients.
  • Contribute to the delivery of outstanding projects both via technical input and by assisting in project management and specialist coordination.

This position may involve part-time work from client offices, as needed.

Here's what you'll need

We are looking for an enthusiastic and values driven individual to work across a diverse suite of projects across multiple industry sectors. In this role you will develop your consulting, project management and technical skills through delivering a range of environmental consulting projects. You will have:

  • A degree/post graduate qualification in environmental science, environmental planning or related discipline.
  • 2-6 years’ experience in environmental planning, impact assessment and approvals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the application of New South Wales and Commonwealth environmental planning legislation.
  • Exceptional reporting and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong motivation and ability to work self-directed.
