Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) maintains oversight of the firm’s compliance conduct and operational risk management activities. CCOR is responsible for the design and execution of the CCOR program, which consists of the second line of defense’s responsibilities in managing the firm’s compliance, conduct, and operational risks.
Operational Risk Management (ORM) is responsible for the design and execution of the CCOR Framework which includes establishing policies and standards that set forth the minimum requirements for Lines of Business (LOBs) and Corporate Functions (CFs) regarding the identification, measurement, monitoring, management, and reporting of compliance, conduct, and operational risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Operational Risk Management governance activities including reviewing, updating and socializing Standards that align to the requirements of the CCOR Framework.
- Identify areas of enhancement in the ORM framework, including policies, procedures, and tools, to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational risks.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather feedback on proposed updates to operational risk standards and governance processes.
- Synthesize Operational Risk data to assess and measure the Operational Risk environment and make recommendations for enhancement.
- Participate in organization wide projects and strategic initiatives undertaken within ORM to help drive engagement, analytics, and support the preparation of meeting materials and updates on strategic priorities.
- Work collaboratively with global team members across LOBs and Corporate Functions and participate actively in working groups.
- Lead and mentor a team member, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective execution of risk management activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operational Risk Management Executive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
- 15+ years’ experience with a large financial institution with a proven track record of success; Compliance, Audit, or Controls background preferred.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, results driven, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective collaborator, including ability to work with colleagues and partners at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with strong data mining and advanced analytics skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.

- Working hours 2:30 - 11:30 pm IST; this role interacts with the ORM teams, located cross region; it is critical that this candidate be able to work flexible hours.
