Must have:
1. Develop complete system architecture for Semiconductor equipment comprising low voltage AC power control, Low voltage & High voltage DC power supplies, I/O controls, high vacuum systems, pressure, and flow controls.
2. Strong knowledge and hands on experience with Electrical and Mechanical CAD software. Skilled on creating 2D drawings & Bill of Materials
3. Expertise in Power circuit design according to electrical safety standards such as UL, NEC & NFPA
4. Expertise in Digital & Analog circuit design for processing various sensor instrumentation such as Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Vibration sensors
5. Demonstrate system level approach with complete verification and validation model & Design optimization for new product development.
6. Expertise in Electro-mechanical design comprising closed loop control system design with pressure regulators, servo valves, pneumatic valves.
7. Engineering design process such as Proof of concept, feasibility study, final implementation, and Design of Experiments
8. Servo control design, selection of servo motors, amplifiers for various load conditions. Servo tuning to achieve extreme smooth function including PID/PIV tuning methods.
9. Power control design and closed loop temperature controls design for various heating applications such as Resistive element heaters, Lamp heaters. Possess knowledge about different types of lamp behavior for electrical and thermal properties.
10. Expertise in devising temperature measurement solutions for various material types, including contact & non-contact measurements in vacuum applications. Possess hands on experience dealing with Thermocouple, RTD / Pyrometers / Fiber optic probes.
11. Hands on experience with high voltage DC power supplies, understand failure modes & ability implement HVDC applications.
12. Possess strong knowledge in Industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, Serial RS232/485.
13. Ability to develop system safety application and implement safety circuits, interlock logic.
14. Possess knowledge and hands on experience with design and implementation of Vacuum pumps such as turbo molecular / Cryogenic. Selection of vacuum components.
15. Strong analytical skills & problem-solving techniques. Demonstrate process improvement capability in areas such as cycle time improvements, reducing trouble shooting time.
16. Experience in managing
Advantageous to have:
1. Experienced in server-based controls architecture.
2. Low complexity Analog board design such as amplifiers, Ai signal conditioners, FPGA / CPLDs applications, SoC applications.
3. Strong with design calculations such as pressure, electrical power load balancing for single phase and 3 phase circuits, DFT for vibration measurements, etc
4. Knowledge about RF Generators, RF Matching networks, RF power transmission and measurements
5. Knowledge in Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication Equipment and key components such as Plasma, Electrostatic chuck, wafer handling & process kits
6. Reliability engineering aspects such as MTBF, MWBC, FMECA, CRAMS
